Happy Valentines Day! :D

I had a great time this year, although my valentines day wasn't a romantic one.
Although i know that flowers don't last & they wither easily, but i would still want to receive at least 1 right!

Part 1:
Celebration with my girls! (:
Actually wanted to go to sugarloft, however it was super packed! tried top table, but fully booked!
So we went bistro walk instead! Although it was packed, but we managed to find seats!
The food was so-so only, but it was a great time spent with my girls!

I know i haven't been attending lectures, i feel bad about it & i really miss them! :D

Our awesome mama panda blowed balloons for us! Heart shape somemore~~

Although i was wearing heels but i still look so small beside rasi! ):

My leg was super painful due to my new heels! ):
Saw Peishan on the way to the busstop & she actually lend me a hand & accompanied me to the busstop! Super sweet of her right!! <3

Part 2:
Met baobao at cine, when i saw him he was with this adidas plastic bag. Was really puzzled what could he have gotten me from adidas! It was a jacket, white base with red designs (: Its really pretty!
Baobao said he didn't want me to get cold, so he got me a jacket. Sweet huhs!
But still no flowers! O:

My leg was hurting damn bad so we went Charles & Keith, & baobao got me a pair of new shoes! Pretty & comfy! OMG! :D

After our shopping, walk here walk there, we headed to MBS. One of our colleagues booked a room there to celebrate Valentines with his wife! DAMN SWEEEEET! :D
So we joined in the fun, became a 4 person date!

It was fun lahs, we had dinner at this lounge at Esplanade. Most of them were fully booked already!
The food was great :D Price also not that expensive :D

After dinner, We went walk walk around Esplanade took some pics & went back to SkyPark (:

P.S made a card & sandwich for baobao! Didn't know what to buy, i practically bought everything for him alrdy. Made chocolates as well, but failed so... KEKE.

Daddy finally got a DSLR.
He has been saying it for so long !
Thanks to baobao, that he finally got it, at a good price even. (:

The model we got was EOS-600D.
Its fantastic! took a picture, show your the quality of it!
However, it is quite bulky, hard to carry around though, but awesome quality pics taken.

Next time, can use it for my blogshop pics already~ (:
speaking of my blogshop, planning to change its layout and add in shopping cart. will definitely look neater! in the process of doing research now. (:

Okays, wat happened was...
i wanted to order chicken cutlet (i really am confused which is which!) i want the fried 1!
so i ordered wrongly, became the grilled 1.
when i tried it, i realised i ordered pork chop. ):
OMG~ seriously dont noe wat was i doing!

THEN...
the sweet little eliz offered me some of her steak cos i dont really like pork..

Back track, py & i met up afew days before the dinner to shop for lijie's present!
we decided on a bag & another surprise was to pay for her buffet dinner! (:

decided to have buffet dinner at Novotel Clarke Quay cos papa's member, can get cheaper rate! (:
We actually got 50% off!
So there we went~
SAD THING WAS, py couldnt make it due to stomach flu.
Well, so the usual 4 of us celebration became 3.

However, Nick came over out of the sudden!
He though the rest of the guys are coming too, so he just came! but in fact, he was the only one !

We actually ate for quite afew hours! XP

as it was a tue, meatballs were nearly half priced. YAYS for Eliz!

this time round, on the way to Ikea after sch... Jenisha got stuck in the bus! Couldnt get down, so funny~

As usual, grand diamond hotel! We usually only stay at either Novotel at Siam Square or Grand Diamond Hotel at Bangkok (: This time round, Grand Diamond Hotel expanded! Now has its own shopping centre, more shopping~
Platinum shopping is just right beside Grand Diamond Hotel, so thr's double shopping now! (:

Our favourite snack! It can be found in Bugis in Spore only! (:
We usually have it at Platinum Mall's food court!
We love sausage & ham flavour.

Whats more, the card will only expire around 1 year later.

Cos huitian had some school stuffs to settle, so we went to the beach first!

anw, py texted me on tat particular fri asking me out for dinner. & i had skating orientation to attend that night.
However, i skipped it for them ! Such a gd friend ehs XP

took a bus to town & met her at plaza sing, we headed to chinatown to get her stuffs.
& along side i got the idea of doing my own earrings ! XP
i made some ! will share them later on~ but the costing is rather high.

met up with lily & we were late. Lily got used to us being late already, so we just let him wait.

waited for baobao at home, got prepared & i waited for 3 hrs! ):
cos he wanted to do the check in first & then drive me thr, which was sweet of him! but there was some delays, so i had to wait ):

went over to IMM first to check on guinea pigs!
& then we headed for our destination! (: yays, was so excited!

when i stepped into the room, this was the first time i saw:

super nice view from the room's BIG WINDOW! baobao chose a bigger room, at tower 3 lvl 45 (:
tower 3's view is nicer! & just nice the side that we took faced the whole marina area.

went up to skypark!! its a v.big area but we only covered a small part of it.

the shopping area was quite big that we got lost afew times lo. & we spent quite alot of time walking.
we went out for dabao our supper at Geylang & went over to mustafa for some snacks !
headed back to enjoy our nice supper (: & i gave baobao a surprise!
i filled the mug that i went to print our photos on for him with green tea for him to drink at 12am XP
& he didnt realised lo, so bodoh. HEHE. pics in baobao's iphone. will post it later on bahs! (:

bad points - no free wifi & parking for guests.

however, they do provide valet parking for hotel guests & non-hotel guests too. but at diff prices. (:
$12 for hotel guests for the whole day! & we met the transportation manager, who was so kind & he passed us 2 complementary tickets for valet parking for our stay thr. so gd isnt it! (:
he said we looked cute when we smile. XP friendly guy!

Baobao's birthday celebrations - 8 march(:

the night before baobao's bd, i went to make his bd cake!
went jurong point at around 9pm, after decorating, the only shop still open was FOX. so i went in to get some clothes as presents for baobao!
i was attracted by the tee-shirt with a letter A on it, so i went in.
In the end i bought so many that the total bill added up to $180+.
had a free laptop bag so i chose the green colour 1 for baobao (:
hehe, wanted to give him a surprise at 12 midnight bt he told me he going out to celebrate his bd. so i quickly rushed down to find him lo.
in the end he saw the cake ):
well, i accompanied him to some pub or smth to meet his friends.

although not really nice but all my effort kays! the green base is the ice-ing which i squeeze on bit by bit!

on the day of his bd, went over to his house and waited for Alex to come over. we watched Phobia 2, quite scary lo~
after which, was cut cake session!
The cake isnt so sweet, which is good. & the price is reasonable as you can decorate the whole cake yourself (: i got it at only $20+ for this size.

woke up today & saw rasi's msg regarding our results, so i quickly jump up & check my results. was quite disappointed though. although i did better then last sem, bt not good enough !
i got a 3.59 gpa & a cumulative 3.58 in total. not good enough right? ):

Had a breakfast date with baobao this tue. haha !
It was damn long ago since i last had a proper breakfast.
When thr's sch, i either eat on my way thr or in class. & they are usually breads ):
When thr's no sch, if im working i will always be late so takeaway breakfast or no breakfast at all. If im staying home, i will just skip breakfast & wake myself up at around 12pm earliest XP

So.. baobao asked if i can wake up in time for breakfast & he said 9am at Sembawang.
Okays... so i set my alarm & tried to wake up. Of cos i... couldn't ):
woke up an hr late XP but still... we had our breakfast ! at Yishun (;

went over to baobao's house after that. i did my notes while watching many movies.
Like marathon i tell you. Almost finished all new shows that are screening now.

Yays, had japanese buffet XP
Its located at South View, the place should be called keat hong market. hahas, surprisingly there was 2 japanese restaurants over there. 1 was Sakura & we chose the other one.
Sakura is closing down over there.

& i'm having the holiday mood since then.
i didn't really mug hard for exams, & my first paper will be Micro-econs this coming friday.
4 more days?

ARHS ! Still no mood to study, but i'm doing notes though. at a very slow pace. like a chap a day...
After econs will be LSM, followed by Tort & lastly Criminal law paper.

Received quite alot of coursework grades & most are As, but if i screw my final paper they will be gone !

Korea Trip - 27 Dec

Last day of this Korea trip !
Flight was in the afternoon so we had some time left for some more activities !
take a close look at my leopard print long jacket ! (: bought it during shopping the day before. comfy !
costs around $12 !

we had buns & dumpling with noodles & porridge ! weird right...

came out of the mum mum place & saw doggies !
its very huge ! there was also a stall that sold korean stars' stuffs. suitable for fans !
& thr's a tourmate who bought like $100+ of super junior stuffs.
cant imagine if yanling-muacks was there ! SHE WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE WHOLE STALL.

they are a family actually ! & that lady is a poly lecturer ! if im not wrong she's NP's lecturer (:
she's really friendly & not like any other teachers lorh ! (:

after that went to a famous canal to take a look.

anw, when i was in the plane back i was perspiring like mad cos of the jacket ):
but i didn't wear any shorts, just a tee shirt inside & the jacket.

hmms, dont know when will i ever get the change to wear that jacket again !

okays, forget about the jacket. the Korea trip was quite fun at times lahs, but really tiring !
& honestly speaking i don't like their food (except for rice).
BUT... its still a wonderful experience cos its the first time i travel so far overseas. cos its always bangkok for me ! XP
missed the chance to spend christmas with my baobao, our first christmas yet separated ! )):

Korea Trip - 26 Dec

We didn't follow the tour for this day cos we were too tired to wake up early in the morning & they are going to another theme park (EverLand - heard they had the longest roller coaster!) & sight seeing.
I wanna go for the sight seeing, but its so cold & its on an island with no shelter or room to warm you up.

So we stayed in the hotel & sleep.
In the early afternoon we went to find the famous shopping area.
Called, 东大门.
THE EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE.
we spent the whole day walking here & day. IT WAS FREEZING COLD !
& we thought its a shopping centre, but its an area ! which means the whole place that we were walking here & there is 东大门.

we first went to the shopping centre called doota for lunch & shopping.

Its very expensive to shop there. & i was 1 of the victim. bought a bag that the salesgirl said was a korean branded bag made with lamb skin. XP costs $125 USD. & we bought it ! its the bag that i'm carrying very often nowadays. To make full use of it XPP
the bag is really pretty though...

its was so cold & i still stood there to take a pic.

went back doota for some food & to rest !
had pastas & ice-cream (in the cold weather).
the pastas were delicious !

sry for my messy hair ! was so depressed, maybe home sick or miss baobao too much !
i din even care when my hair was so messy XP

till night time, we met up with the tour & the tour guide told us we can go to the shopping centre at the side. will be cheaper n its under 东大门 too ! so we went ! indeed it was cheaper lahs & more like my bangkok style shopping. YAYS. XP but still quite expensive lo... ): & almost all winter clothes.
TIPS = dont go for shopping trips during winter time. (:

mine wasnt really romantic, but well its my first valentines with a bf ! XP
had cafe cartel for lunch first...
baobao ordered this Seafood thingy, but its not worth it at all. ):

he didnt prepare anything & of cos i was disappointed. so he went to get a mini cake with a candle.
isnt it funny? hahaha ! n he asked me to blow the candles out. XP

watched the movie : Just go with it.

but this movie wasnt so bad ! it was funny throughout ! (: great !
played with escalators & i wanted to take a pic but ppl were practically staring & laughing at me. so i was so ps & the pic turned out like dis !
i was reluctant to take the escalator again.

of yah ! outfit that day was my maxi dress from bukit panjang ! sale for only $10 XP. it looks nicer in real life !

the best part of the day came ! a group of people approached us & said they got a forfeit, so a guy sang & played his guitar for us. so sweet isnt it ?! & i got a love card from them. so cute !

something great about it is that the food's delicious ! & the price is affordable ! (:
its actually my first time there, with Sihui, Rasi, Thines & Jenisha !
its actually also Thines & Jenisha's favourite hang out. so sweet isnt it ? (:

all the above for only $3 each ! they also ordered chicken wings ! & it came in a bowl. costs $3 as well !
& our main course was breaded fish, for $5 nett.
its was filling i tell you, we were so full we couldn't finish them all. cos we had our desserts first. XP

My hair issue was hair loss due to super dry hair !
I once straighten my hair when i was 15, & permed it last year.
My hair ends became very very very dry after that !
Look at my long & dry hair ! ):

and at the back of my hair, it will always tangle.
When i wake up in the morning, i will comb my hair.

& whenever i comb my hair, there will be a lot of hairs stuck on my comb !
that scene really horrified me ! ):
my hair really got lesser compared to before.

I knew i only had 2 choices. Cut or treatment.
I don't want to end up like this:

Waiying's birthday - 8 Jan.

Met tort grp again to settle some work.
Was damn late cos i woke up late & so i took a cab. )):
USUAL PLACE - plaza sing!

After that i went shop shop around plaza sing for a present for Waiying !
Was celebrating her bd that day.
Waited for maine to come & yays got a Charles & keith wallet ! My favourite place to shop for wallets !

Bought a nice piece of paper from the paper market & started to do my card for her !
I drew the minie mouse with a pen, i was so scared i would draw it wrongly !
But lucky i managed to finish drawing nicely !! XP
Thanks to maine who was encouraging me ! HEHE (:

in between was long story !
But i met my LONG LOST FRIEND - YANLING ! OMG !
i miss her so much ! just nice she's maine classmate !
SUPER HAPPY TO SEE HER ! i haven met her for almost a year already !
We went to Old school's Timbre.

Anw, maine's friends were all very friendly !
didn't managed to take a photo with waiying ! She was so late !
Left after awhile to meet baobao, cos he couldn't find his way there.

Then he drove us to the bottle tree park again !

He was so sweet, he drove me there just for me to take a pic of the bottle tree which i missed the previous time !
& when the baobei song played on the radio, he sang it for me. made me so touched !

Baobao D&D !
I was so excited for him, cos i told him to win an IPad for me XP
HAHA !
But, sad to say he didn't have the luck lahs.

Got a digital photo frame instead. Still not bad lahs, & he gave it to me ! (:
You can play music while the photos are showing~
So nice ! & can set as clock or calendar as well !
comes with remote control, for lazy people like me !! XP

HAIR CUT - 5 Jan.

i haven go for a hair cut, i think for a year already ? haha !

i mean for the length of my hair lahs.

Finally decided to have a hair cut ! due to some reasons~

Anw, my friends all say not much difference lahs. ~

but the hair stylist did cut like 2 inches ?!

actually got difference lah ! shorter & not so curly anymore. Cos the hair stylist cut almost all my curls away ! so heart-pain ! ): i spent $168 on tat !

Korea Trip - 24 Dec Part 2.

Next stop was horse riding !
I was nervous & scared at the same time ):

It was so cold my nose turned red again !
But i enjoyed the horse ride though, they took some pics for us & it costs quite alot.
papa still bought 1 piece though, cos it was well taken ! (:
i quickly ran into a house & i tripped over the steps and fell ! ):
So painful ! i even slide on my knees till i hit the wall. )):
It was so painful i couldnt walk much for awhile.

Look at this ! some heating thingy, & they use this to heat up the snacks~
I tried their snacks, quite yummy (: kept us warm too !

on the way for lunch ! hungry alrdy !

when we reached. i heard the tour guide say their houses were the olden days kind.
& tat big thingy is their tu di gong o~ you can buy their keychains at their local shops too !
you wont be able to find these keychains in Seoul, so get them while u r in Jeju !

This day was 1 of the most enjoyable day during the 8 day trip !
We actually went to afew other places after dinner.

I NEARLY FORGOT ABOUT NANTA SHOW !
It was really enjoyable & funny throughout ! they are fantastic !!

To a mystery road where what you see & feel is different !
While on the bus you will see that the slope is going up, but its actually going down.
So when the bus driver stop driving, the bus will move down itself~
Didn't take any pic though, cos it jus looked like some ordinary road XP

After that was the dragon stone or something by the sea. IT WAS SO COLD I GAVE UP !
We even have to walk down a long stairs to take a pic of the stone ):

YAYS! Jenisha went to bali during the hols & she got me something i wanted !

very unique shoes from bali.
i bought a pair when i went there last year, i bought a black pair !
This time round, she got me a silver pair(:
She bought 1 for Thines as well, cos when i wore my black pair to sch, they love it !

i want to go bali again to get more pairs~~
They are so unique & i have never seen any1 else wearing them XP

First Day of 2011!

Spent my day with baobao as well ! (:
We woke up in the afternoon, drag drag awhile & had our lunch at KFC ! (: YAYS.
After that baobao came over to my place to accompany me !

My overview for 2010:
1. Got together with my wonderful bf !
2. Got to know new friends from TP !
3. Starting working at Gain City.
4. Started my course Law & Management & got a GPA of 3.57.
5. Visited South Korea & Bali.
that's all i can remember ! ):

What i want to achieve in 2011?
1. Visit Bangkok 3 times ! XP
2. Make my blog-shop successful !
3. Visit Bali again, but this time with baobao. (difficult!)
4. Get a GPA of at least 3.75! (FAT HOPE)
5. Get a new hairstyle ?

i will continue my list if i can remember more ! (:

Breakfast today wasn't buffet, but abalone porridge !

Compared to the 1 we had in the airport on the 1st day, the airport's porridge is much nicer ! (:

Oh & we are still in Jeju for today !

I thought i saw rain, than the tour guide said it was snow ! OMG ! super excited ! But it was small lahs.

Slowly became bigger after that, but still cant capture it with the camera.

Super cold & this kept me warm !

To be honest, there wasnt anything much i saw in the submarine. But the experience was great lahs.

Buy local Jeju products here ! its located beside the orange farm ?

sell lots of orange products ! CHOCOLATES & vitamin C are my fav !

chocolates include cactus ! NICE MAN.

& the vitamin C is rather cheap. made with natural orange, selling at big bottle for 25,000won.

VERY NICE (: i dont usually take orange flavoured stuffs cos i feel that they tastes fake. But this tastes like AWESOME. ((: i now take 1 everyday !

Countdown - Last day of 2010 !

Okays, lets take a break from the korea trip ! XP
The next day of the Korea trip will be LONG. EVEN LONGER !

For my last day of 2010.
I spent 3/4 of the time at home.
Till 8+pm i left ! Baobao came to fetch me, took a cab to woodlands for our dinner ! OMG, my favourite place to eat LALA~

End results. I was famished ! ate so much ! XP
& for your info, the lala is empty if you cant see properly ! wanted another plate derhs, but decided to have dessert instead. XP
the dessert was disappointing, should have ordered lala again !

& baobao ordered another cheese prata ! his favourite over there.

took a walk & rested at some bus-stop !

we continued our night walk then we saw fireworks !!
but din managed to take a pic of it, cos it was too sudden. xP like some fairytale suddenly have fireworks ! xP
i climbed up a hill to take a better view of the fireworks, cos i was "ahem" too short. (:

Next, we decided to take the MRT to yishun for our movie.
Nice movie ! (: SUPER FUNNY ! worth watching !
spent our countdown in the cinema & baobao whispered happy new year to me.

next stop : the bottle tree park !
ITS SO DARK I CAN BERELY SEE MY HANDS.
& its quite smelly !
but its quite pretty over there, i would want to go again in the early evening ! (:
Wanted to call a cab to baobao's place but all was busy. so we walked all the way out !
It was so DARK & SCARY, i kept repeating : im so scared im so scared !
cos earlier on was a ghost movie.

After all of those we went to a 24 hour shop & save to buy my make-up remover cos i didn't bring any.
bought the biore tissue thingy. quite handy, but not really very clean. have to wipe a many times & throughly. but still, very convenient lahs ! (:

I had a hard time uploading all the pics cos blogger said i have exceeded the free storage blah blah blah.
So i have to use photobucket instead.
upload my pics to photobucket via iphoto & then copy paste the html codes.
pretty lot of work huhs !
