Korea Trip - 23 Dec

after morning call, prepared & had breakfast. Another buffet breakfast!

Something interesting : look at their vitagen packaging ! (:

This place is rather famous for their sunrise ! so we all waited. 

They even provide you with the time for the sunrise so you can wake up in time to catch it ! (;

Also, the koreans make a wish upon the 1st sunrise of the year ! 

1st stop: The Sinheungsa (Temple).

Super nice view. Everywhere looks so nice. & i love their trees ! got a very antique feeling huhs~

But the wind is very strong & very cold. I swear my hands & feet were numbed.

So i had to wear a cap, which was quite big & the hoodie on my jacket. It covered my eyes.

Therefore, you can see some pics without my eyes XP

We are going to take a cable car up !

Here comes our cable car !

After we reach the top, we still have to take a long walk. 

The scenery was fantastic ! but i couldnt stop to take a pic. 

Cos we are all q-ing to get up. Like ants. XP

So only managed to take a few pics after i finally reach the top of the top !

We bought a sweet corn thinking that it will be hot & will warm us up.

But it disappointed us. ): Not hot, but normal temperature. 

It doesn't taste like our sweet corn. It tastes like... 

Its chewy, sticky, not sweet with no much sweet corn taste ! 

Tastes rather weird, but as you chew you will find it addictive XP But mouth v.tired lahs. 

LUNCH TIME !

Okays, Bi-Bim-Bab ! i rmb-ed having this in the plane XP

It was awful.

But this time, i learnt how to eat it the right way !

Add as chili paste & mix ! TADAH !

Okays, i wouldn't say it tastes nice. But still alright. Much better than the 1 i had in the plane ! XP

Our tour mate gave us this to try. Its walnut kuay i think. 

There's red bean paste inside & you can actually find a WHOLE walnut inside !

2nd stop : Cheongwadae Sarangchae (Exhibition & Museum)

When i first saw it, i thought it meant the toilet button is on your butt. XP

After that, a short distance walk.

Reached our 3rd stop of the day : Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Super duper cold ! Nose turned red. But was enjoying myself ! 

Next was to the airport, took a place to JeJu Island ! 

Had their Udon ! Damn nice, buy it if you see this in Spore ! Its spicy & the udon tastes nice ! (:

Another snack offered to us by another tour mate.

Baked cheese corn. OMG I LOVE THIS.

The cheese tastes like the pizza hut's pizza's cheese. (:

Okays, the special moment of the day.

Our tour mates tried eating the live Octopus !

Its freaking raw. So this is what you do...

Bite onto 1 of the legs, the chief will cut it off & the leg will suck on your tongue ! 

So chew properly then swallow kays. 

But i find it cruel  ):

Our hotel of the day, Grand Hotel.

Took a walk out for supper !

My supper ! there's rice cake, tao key type, egg etc.

But i like the rice cake the most. Very CHEWY ! REALLY ! 

But its spicy uhs. maybe it depends on the vendor. (: 

Chat with baobao everyday via wifi from different places. 

We send emails to each other via iphone (:
