Korea Trip - 21 Dec

Was slping in the plane & i missed my meal ):

Woke up & asked for something to eat, but the air stewardess cant seem to understand me. Neither can i understand her. So she said she's left with this (see below) only, so i asked her is it rice. She said yes & i asked for 1. Quite friendly & helpful ! (:

This is actually the sauce. Looks like toothpaste huhs. 

Its actually called the Bi-Bim-Bab. Its something like korean mix rice. 

I din't read the instructions so i just ate it. There's mushroom, carrots etc. But i don't like any of those. ): 

So i actually ate plain rice with some minced meat. The rice is GREAT ! the pearl rice XP 

Finally reached Korea after 6 hrs of flying~

Ordered the abalone porridge from some restaurant as the tour guide gave us time to eat. 

The bowl is so big ! & its damn filling cos of the rice. Taste great i tell you ! 

Ever eaten pearl rice porridge ? YOU SHOULD TRY !

but its ex, cos over $10 for a bowl. They serve it with kimchi & other small dishes. 

End results ! XP

They even offer free water. I thought the restaurant was great, but i soon realised every place in Korea they offer free drinking water. Can save on buying water ehs !  

After a few hrs of bus ride, reached this shop. rented our ski-ing equipments. It was really cold. 

Dinner ! In the pot - Pork, Cabbage, Sotong & their sauce. 

Many small dishes again ! I LOVE THEIR SEAWEED SOUP ! 

But i dont like their food there. Cos i dont like pork & cabbage. 

& the small dishes are all cold. I like hot food rather than cold. 

They marinate their small dishes & thr's a weird taste which i cannt stand.

Their food is very bland & simple. Almost the same everyday. 

So people like me who likes chili padi etc cannot really adapt to their food. 

BUT... their food are very healthy. (:

A girl in our tour group celebrated her bd, a slice of card from her. 

Korean cake tastes nice, cos its not so sweet (:

The room isnt that good. But the view is !

You can see the ski-ing centre from the balcony ! SO BEAUTIFUL ! OMG !

 But the room so old-fashioned. Use key somemore~ XP

Cheap ones for 900won. Ex ones for 1,000won.

I love the design, Pls dont try & drink it if you see this okays.

P.s. I had to tie up all my hair cos there's really strong static. It irritates my face n eyes. ):
